This sporty WRX was brought to TW for grinding and clanking noise issues from the engine.  Unfortunately, the bearings in the turbo were not up to par, so it will get a new turbo.  The crew at TW talked with the customer and gave him several price options for repair.  Do we just change the turbo or do upgrade it and add a FMIC which will add more h.p?

The customer decided to upgrade the turbo and add FMIC.  FMIC is front mounted intercooler.   This kit will increase the boost to 6-7 lbs. and run the return air back thru a intercooler before it enters the intake system.  Below are pictures that the crew at TW took that shows some other details when installing the system.

The upgraded turbo kit added a whopping 30 horsepower to the car!

It was crashed, but not what you think.  The car was parked and someone who was not paying attention crashed in the front of it plus several cars past it...  Good thing they had insurance.   The best call was that the owner wanted the crew at TW to perform the repairs since they were the team that installed the performance upgrades originally.

The body parts have arrived but will need a little modifications to fit the intercooler for the turbo.

Here the new front bumper is being modified so it will fit the intercooler.  Did the car get wheel flares?  Now i'm hearing it might get a full body wrap!

After the auto repairs were complete the owner had the car body wrapped!  This car look amazing....with the white rims, wheel flares and a new flat blue body color.
