The 2jz46 is getting some love. We are upgrading the fuel system to utilize ethanol.

New fuel pump, lines, regulator, rail and injectors will definitely make this car move once we tune it!

If you have thought about running ethanol in your car, or curious about what it would take for this upgrade, give us a call or shoot us an email, let's talk!

The next issue that TW is taking care of is the subframe cracks.  This is a known problem with this model and usually shows up when not driven like a granny.  The crew at TW will weld the cracks and then install reinforcement plates for new support.  Soon the car will be back on the road.

After the car was upgraded with new fuel rails, regulator, larger fuel pump and injectors there was an issue.  The variable cam system was not working.  The AEM series 2 is designed to control the variable cam system, but something was wrong.  It was found that the ECU was not setup up correctly to use the variable cam, plus the solenoid that controls the variable cam was unresponsive.  The ECU was setup correctly and the control solenoid was replaced.  With all that troubleshooting we are back in business.

Injector Dynamics 1000's have been installed, along with an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.

The upgraded fuel system has been completed and is now ready for the dyno.   Also the radiator hose needed to be adjusted, it was rubbing on the fan shroud.   Did I mention that the owner is asking about a roll cage?

The roll cage design and installation has been started.

The roll bar project has been started.  All the interior has to be removed and then the mount plates will be welded into place.  Installed roll bars require a lot of time and dedication in order to make it look like its factory installed.

The 2jz46 roll bar has turned out nice. Just need to snag a set of heavy duty removable bracket kit from CAChassis works for the harness bar then she will be good to go.

Did I mention the owner installed a larger turbo and now it needs tune and dyno run. Spring is coming and this car will be ready to rock!
