This Mazda 6 is on it's way to being a very fun car. It is getting a Borg Warner EFR turbo, AEM methanol kit, Deatchwerks pump and injectors, AEM fail safe combo boost and afr gauge, custom Throttle Works intercooler and Throttle Works piping. After some custom fabrication and tuning this Mazda will be one of a kind and quite the sleeper!!

We added a AEM fail safe gauge and a larger fuel pump.

During the course of upgrading the firmware on the AEM-FIC, it "bricked".... the computer froze and we could no longer access it. Luckly is was still under warranty and we sent it back for repair. The AEM-FIC is finally back, but to our disappointment the AEM-FIC does not offer the options and engine controls to fully tune the car properly.

After testing the AEM-FIC, we have decided to use the Haltech New Elite 2500. This new "drive by wire", exhaust cam and knock control ECU offers more tuning and control to achieve optimum engine performance.

Here we are scoping the cam/crank signals off our Mazda6s turbo project. We are working with the Haltech boys in Australia to put together the correct signal support on the Elite 2500.

Upgrade time! The crew at TW has decided to upgrade the turbo to a BorgWarner. This turbo will have more boost and setting controls and is more appropriate for the car.
