This classic 1953 Chevy 5-window pickup was recently purchased in Walla Walla, Wa.

It comes with a small block chevy engine and a turbo 350 tranny. A/C system, Power windows, IFS, power steering, 9"Ford.

The crew at TW has performed several repairs and upgrades getting it ready for the road. We cleaned up the wiring harness, tuned up the engine, repaired the power windows, lowered the ride height. And completed a full vehicle inspection along with a run on the dyno.

Keep in mind that the crew at TW has several other chevy pickups available to customize and build according to your specs. Give them a call to discuss availability and your build sheet specs.

Throttle Works

"The Experience", it's that feeling deep inside you, the feeling you can't quite put into words when you think of your vehicle, we believe everyone should have this feeling.

We help our clients fulfill their "Their Experience". The majority of the vehicles we build are dual-duty; they get flogged on the weekend then are driven to work on Monday morning. We understand this paradigm allowing us to better serve our clients. Absolutely, we can build trailered, track-only cars or garage queens that never see the redline, but our main focus is on vehicles that help you enjoy "The Experience" in and out of the driver's seat.

We build modern and classic performance vehicles for a few exclusive clients that have the desire to be part of something special.

UPDATE:

This is a project truck here at Throttle Works, upgrades will continue during the selling process. Updates will be documented here.

- New lower stance. With the addition of blocks in the rear and trim of the front coil overs the truck looks much better.

The new owners have arrived from Australia and are off on their journey across America. Travel safe Rose Holmes and Ian Mezz.

Rose and Ian have made it to Route 66. They are taking the cruise of all cruises, riding the the old road in a 53 Chevy pick up. They have been getting compliments and thumbs up the whole way. They started their journey at our shop in Boise, ID and are in Pontiac, IL now taking that ribbon of Americana that is Route 66 all the way back to California. After this awesome Journey they are taking their sweet Chevy "Ida" back to Australia with the to haul around their awesome VW bug drag car. Safe travels and much fun!!!

Thanks to the awesome couple that bought this truck from us, told us to put our name on it so they could drive it the full length of Route 66. Then they decided they liked her so much they took her home to Australia to tow their Volkswagen bug racecar!! Been looking forward to seeing this picture for a long time!!!
