This high performance 6.1L Hemi was brought to TW for a few upgrades. Its already running a Pro-Charger supercharger so what is left with this high horsepower monster? How about lower rear end gears to get off the line faster, a custom dyno tune and a custom hood vent for more cooling? The dyno results will be coming soon!!
The hood was removed and some more protection was added so we could begin cutting.
Time for some finite fitment and then the removal of the paper and tape for final install.
After a test fit it was obvious the aluminum hood needed a little structure added to it to pull it up tight to the vent so a small piece of aluminum flat bar was added to the inside edge of the cut.
The final result is a nice, subtle yet purposfully mean look. TW approved!!
