Rory, one of the owners of TW, bought this car in 2006. It was transported from Yokohama, Japan in a heavy equipment cargo ship and delivered to Long Beach, California. Over the years of ownership, it was upgraded with a RB25DET engine, a custom intercooler, engine and transmission mounts. It has also received a custom full front and rear suspension. This car is a work in progress...
Above is what the car looked like when Rory bought it.
Below are the photos of the upgrades and modifications.... work in progress!
Starting to clean up the old sound proofing on the floor boards.
The kids busy at work cleaning and scraping the floor boards.
Change of plans.... the RB25DET engine is sold and something new will takes its place. Did you know that the VK56 Nissan V8 can fit in a 1976 JDM Nissan Laurel SGX? It fits so well that the brake booster, clutch master, steering linkage, oil pan don't have to be modified, and to top it all off there is plenty of room on the steering box to allow for header clearance. It was meant to be!
