The owner of this car brought it with a high compression, big cam, hybrid built motor. Using a 1.8 liter block and crank and the 20 valve head from a 1.6. It came in for a tune using a Haltech Platinum 1000 ecu. After a few stages since day one, it is now a 13:1 compression, big cam, turbo car, all built in-house at TW.

After the new engine was installed there was an issue. One of the rod bearings spun causing damage.
Here the crank has been machined and is all ready to go.... time to assemble the engine.
The ports have been cleaned up for unrestrictive flow.
