The Lerker, which is best known as a Ford Sierra has been purchased by one of our techs named Dave.  Unfortunately, few people remember the the US counter part that we have here, the Merkur XR4-Ti.      

He is super excited about plans he has instore for this car.  Hillclimbs, circle track... just to name a few .      

He currently has a stock LS1 and a Jericho transmission for the power house.  He's gone a little crazy by cutting out the firewall and making a well balanced chassis, but he's well on is way.

The firewall and floor tunnel is almost complete!  Give this race car a few more weeks and it will be ready to hit the track.

Here are the roll cage mounts that attach to the rear fender.  The large plate welded onto the fender creates are more surface strength for the roll cage.
