Another project from a long time customer, this E-mod Speed Fire race car is built with a 12A Mazda Rotary engine along with several other custom bits. Its currently at TW for some new street wheels and tires, also the headlights, brake lights and turn signals need to be reinstalled and wired. The owner wants to be able to drive it on the street without getting hassled to much by the man. They will probably still pull him over just to get a better look at this awesome little car.

The car is back! The customer is having TW upgrade to a full suspension coil over system. They will also upgrade the fuel and intake too. This will prepare the race car for the Bogus Basin HillClimb race.

The Triumph is back! The owner would like the crew at TW to install a Miata rear suspenion . The current suspension is very limited on adjustment and handling and is similar to the old style VW. The new Miata upgrade will be adjustable and easier to setup plus it will be wider for more control. Carbon fiber hood and doors was also mentioned for the future.

It's almost like Mazda made the MX5 rear suspension specifically to fit in a Spitfire. The crew at TW will now design, fabricate and install the new rear frame support for the MX5 suspension. The pictures below show the suspension sitting in the correct location, but no mounting or fabrication has been started.

The A-arms and shocks are shown here. With the wider stance and A-Arm length, the car will be able to run wider rims and tires.
