Another project from a long time customer, this E-mod Speed Fire race car is built with a 12A Mazda Rotary engine along with several other custom bits. Its currently at TW for some new street wheels and tires, also the headlights, brake lights and turn signals need to be reinstalled and wired. The owner wants to be able to drive it on the street without getting hassled to much by the man. They will probably still pull him over just to get a better look at this awesome little car.

The new rear suspension supports have been installed and built. The new support ties directly into the car frame and roll cage.It will allow the owner to easily drop out the rear suspension by removing 6 bolts. This will also make it easier for repair, upgrades or major adjustments.

The shock mounts have been designed, built and welded into place. Notice the three holes in the bracket on the bottom end of the shock. This will allow for more adjustment by changing the degree the shock compresses providing a wider range of tension.

The crew at TW and the customer thought it would be a good idea to add a safety side bars to protect the driver and passenger. At the end, it also adds more frame strength too. The photo below shows the mounting locations inside the cab where the safety side bars will be welded to. The floor will also be reinforced and so the bars can be welding securely into place.
